So many people keep flushing these items down the toilet and YOU NEED TO STOP! Read through our short list of what not to flush down the toilet.

All of the items in our list can cause serious damage to your toilets plumbing when flushed down the toilet.

1- Baby Wipes / Wet Wipes
This is the most common item to be flushed down the toilet that shouldn’t be… baby wipes. Baby wipes do not break down like tissue does in water, meaning they hold the moisture making them more likely to block your plumbing systems.

2- Cotton Products
Any form of cotton products including cotton pads, cotton buds or cotton wool should not go down the toilet. Similar to baby wipes, cotton products do not break down like toilet paper does. They will clump up, and grow in size making it more likely to clog the toilet.

3-Condoms
A product you want to easily dispose of, but these should not go down the toilet. Again they are not designed to break down, meaning they will clog pipework and septic tanks.
