A couple of bath tub styles

A couple of the cheaper bath tubs start with the Alcove bath – this is usually one of the cheapest tubs on the market as most come in a standard length and sit in a 3-walled enclosure. These enclosures can be used for baths and showers. You’ll pay more for a better quality tub or for special order sizes.
Drop-in baths – these are the same concept of the alcove however they are also like free-standing tubs. These are created by building a frame in your room (usually wooden) creating a peninsula type bath. This is usually a cheaper alternative to the stand-alone, but can be just as glamorous. You can use a variety of materials to board up your frame, usually people will use tiles, but you can use stone or even Corian. You can even try and make this even more unique by having mosaic tiles done to suit you.
