You don’t often get a great deal of room in an en-suite unless you’re extremely fortunate, and many homes with en-suites bedrooms will just about have room for a shower rather than a big bulky bathtub. A shower enclosure can be a nice addition to any en-suite, mainly because it does not take up a great deal of room.

There’s something quite special about being able to have a shower in the convenience of your own bedroom, and if you have a closet with enough space then an en-suite with a shower enclosure can be a good option. You can decide between folding doors, side hinged doors and even those that slide round the corner, so there are plenty of options for the size and shape of your own en-suite.

Of course there are some people who benefit from really well-sized en-suites, and if you have the opportunity to fit a bathtub then it’s probably recommended, because at least that way you can install an overhead shower and get the best of both worlds.
