Keeping your bathroom tiles in tip-top shape

Not many people like cleaning their bathrooms, but it’s a job that needs doing. You may think a quick clean every month or so is more than enough, but it’s not if you want to keep your tiles in good shape.

The atmosphere in a bathroom is wet and steamy, and you may find that the tile adhesive starts to turn black if it’s not cleaned and dried down on a regular basis. If your bathroom is absolutely soaking after a shower or bath, make sure you air it out, and follow up by wiping down any moisture left on the tiles and the adhesive filler.

Even ‘stay white’ adhesive can soon become discoloured if it’s not cleaned every now and then. We’d recommended using cleaning products every week, so if you’ve neglected your bathroom, spend some time cleaning because it is one of the most important rooms in a home.
